WOW, what a pretty bird.. Is that a krider's red-tail.. That bird is so white..
I love it man. you should be rpoud of tht one. [smilie=banana.gif]
No, he's a very light breasted eastern. This time of year we get a mix of morphs and sub species around the St Louis. This bird was caught in a duck hunting area where I saw Krieder's, Harlan's and Easterns. Strange thing was every passage bird I saw was a male that day, I threw the trap at the largest. Kurt

Kurt you have a very very nice bird.
Good hawking
He's coming along well, he flew about 70 or 80 ft on creance with good response today. I'm hoping he'll be hunting in about two weeks. Kurt

hey kurt
that is one big male you named him coot he looks like jugernolt that is one fine bird you have there
David
Coot's ready to free fly now if I can get a day where it's not blowing at 40 mph. He still needs to come down about another oz or so but his response is excellent and he's easy to work with. Should have him hunting in less than a week. Kurt

Chris:
I looked at your web site. Looked at the pictures on the OFA. Neat. That golf cart hawking must be hard work. I see there was some snow, was you in Ok, at the time.

Kurt, glad the new bird is doing well....good luck with him.
Everet, yes all those pics are in Oklahoma. We dont get much snow, so we try to take advantage of it when we do get some! Golf carts are a great hawking tool [smilie=icon_thumright.gif] I dont have a lot of photos from those trips, but I have some fun videos of about 8 or 9 falconers driving around a golf course with their giant hoods in the back of the golf carts!

Chris, one of these days Im gonna figure out how to get videos online. Our vids are choppy compared to most, but they are pretty funny most of the time! If I get it figured out, I'll post a link.
