New here, beginner from FL!

Hi Everyone! I'm new to the forum! :)
I live in Miami, FL, and I'm just now starting to pick up some books to fuel my passion about birds and falconry. I'm hoping to find a sponsor, take the test, get a permit, and begin an apprenticeship.
A little more about me: I love animals (I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 snakes), and I'm a behavior therapist for young autistic kids.
Looking forward to getting to know people on here! :D

Hello and welcome to NAFEX.

Please have a look around and familiarize yourself with how the forums work. One section that people find the most useful is the site information (http://www.nafex.net/forumdisplay.php?f=26). This is where you can learn to post photos (first thing almost everybody wants to know).

Please take the time to go to user cp (located on the left side of your screen, near the top) and add your signature automatically to your post, real first name at a minimum please. This is number one (in red) of the forum rules (http://www.nafex.net/misc.php?do=cfrules), it helps keep things friendly around the forum, as people will know who they are talking to.

Wow, that would be great! :D I'm near the Coconut Grove/Coral Gables/Brickell areas. I have time on weekends and can drive further south or north though. I really appreciate your offer to talk to your friend. Being in such an urban area I was afraid I'd never find a sponsor near me at all.
