Ok so lets see em.... Snap some pics with your cell phones and post em. At the end of the meet who ever has the best cell pic wins a NAFEX t shirt and a NAFEX beanie cap...The members will vote who wins. The only rule is it has to be taken with a cell phone

It doesn't have to be of hunting... Just post what you take pics of. You packing, hunting, showering... What ever!

( if you have an iPhone ,and are a NAFEX supporting member, you can upload right from your iphone. Just click the paper clip and up load your pic. Not sure if it works with any other phone... If not just upload to a CPU. )

Well I guess I will start it off. ...a beer in the meet hotel bar:) .. Damn that taste good!!

He put on a good show though. Tha land owner had about 10 people watching and they loved it

Keep this stuff coming. As one of the people who chooses to be with family over thanksgiving instead of going to the meet I enjoy these shots of meet day to day activities. I would love to be there, but it would be hurtful to my wife to not have thanksgiving have the whole family around.

Ross, that is actually being discussed by NAFA, changing the week to another one. It is a tough decision, as there are a lot of reasons to have it the week of Thanksgiving and a lot of reasons to change it.

There are a lot of folks here who come in Fri-sat and head home Wednesday for those reasons ross, still get almost everything the meet has to offer!

Is that a cottonwood tree the skulls are around ?
Looks to be a ceremonial placing , either crow , Cheyenne or Lakota would be my guess . The ram , mule deer and bison horns are sacred medicine to the holymen of those tribes , was there any color fabric in small ties around it as well. The Cottonwood is a sacred ceremonial tree as well .

My family is practicing traditional Lakota from SD and that grouping is all too familiar around family lodges and homesteads .
Nice find !

Oh yeah, 150+ yard chase downwind for the first three that bumped. Was able to relocate and reflush all 3, he chased them hard but the wind and quail won. We'll be back tomorrow with more daylight and fewer birds to fly.

I'm sure that dog helps, plus even along those woodstrips and fence rows the quail should have pretty limited options compared to some places. Bobwhites I think are probably the easiest quail to take because they aren't quite as hot footed as some of the western quail. I'm sure you'll get one today. I bet Mikey felt like he'd gone to heaven! Good luck today.

Speaking strictly from the experience of my own and only a very few other Vizsla's, I think they are all unmannered when it comes to introducing themselves to other dogs! My girl insists that every single dog she meets wants to be run up to and licked incessantly in the mouth... crazyy

Where is that giraffes head?

Did Brian have fun with this picture?

Isn't it obvious? The giraffes head is up the elephants ass. The gorilla put on the blindfold because he could not take it any more. Yes, I had a BLAST for about 20 minutes with this at the gas station. Literally tears in my eyes thinking of the possibilities.

The zebra is a prude and doesn't want anything to do with it, but the rhino is a voyeur and can't help but peek...:D

like I said, so many ways to go with this picture. So many possibilities. This is surely the winner of the T-shirt. Hands down.:D

I dunno...it IS awesome and COMPLETELY random, but the one with you winning the transmitter-that's just irony in the extreme, lol:D

So that was Pitcher's peregrine that was last to leave the weathering area on Friday!

As for Jeff- "Hear no evil". Although he certainly seems to be thinking about something- maybe the zoo animals?

What's the story with this piebald peregrine? CB or wild taken or? Never seen or heard of this in a peregrine before, kinda neat looking!

Ed said it occasionally happens in cassenis. gets whiter each year. was normal color as immy. just out of the chamber for the year. Think he said it was 3, but could be mistaken.
