The news that Harry McElroy has reprinted Desert Hawking II got me thinking...(which is normally a precarious endeavor)

I have been a fan of kindles and tablets as a way to read for 7 years (I had the good fortune to work on the very first kindle before it went to market). I love the idea of paper books - the smell, the sight of them on my shelves, the feel of them in my hands - and I will ALWAYS cherish paper books.

But when it comes time to read, I much prefer to do that on a digital device for many reasons - I can carry many more with me, I don't loose my place, and its backed up in case of loss.

I have collected some classics as PDF ebooks (hawking of Japan, Bert's Treatise on Hawking, Falconry in the valley of the Indus, The art and Practice of Hawking, etc). But would love to add some more.

One that I realized today that should be in my list of classics is King Freddies book - that's public domain.

Is anyone aware of wether or not some of the modern classics like Nick Fox, the Desert Hawking series, North American Falconry and Hunting Hawks, The Harris Hawk revolution, etc. can be picked up in an electronic format?

Thanks. I tried looking on google books for a bit last night, but didn't find it before I gave up to go play outside.

Looks like something changed on google books - it used to be very easy to save these off as a PDF, but I don't see a way to do that.
