Once again this year, we’ll thank our NAFA Field Meet host community with our fourth annual NAFA Blood Drive. This year, we’re doing our best to minimize waiting time by collecting donations over two days. Our American Red Cross Central Plains Blood Services team will be ready to serve you in the Gemini Room of the Meet hotel, the Atrium Hotel and Conference Center Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

If you make an appointment ahead of time, you’ll be guaranteed a quick trip through the process. Appointments are available every fifteen minutes through the times mentioned above. Join us in leaving a gift behind for the good people of the Hutchinson area who have welcomed us into their town and onto their lands to hunt. Your single donation of whole blood can save three lives. If you’re a regular donor, keep to your schedule by donating with us. If you’ve never given before, give it a try. It’s easy and fast -- most people can give a unit of whole blood in 20-30 minutes. And remember: everyone who presents to donate will be eligible for special drawing prizes.

TWBB IV was a resounding success, with 32 units of blood collected. That puts NAFA over 110 units for all the drives together. That's the potential for saving nearly 350 lives. Good work, all! Many thanks to all who donated and presented ready to donate. You are fierce good people.
