From what i've heard it is indeed real and the peregrine was chased off by another bird.

Is the peregrine a peals or a tundra?

Do you know the answer? I say adult Peals. Not enough white for Tundra.

I would say tundra, doesn't seem bulky enough for a peales. She looks just like my tundra. My peales anatum would have decapitated the gull with a single nip. The small ticking (spots) in the auricula suggests peales, though.

It is pretty obvious she is concerned about whatever it is that is watching her. Probably another raptor coming in. I have seen that look many times.

Turkeys? It is hard to find that objectionable looks like fun to me. One would have to be a pretty skillful archer for those shots, I would guess. There were probably a lot of misses in between.

I see no sport in sitting in a blind. Sorry all you deer hunters that sit in a blind by a corn feeder, just my opinion. Yes I have done just that, but I just did not feel the excitement or rush that some talk about. I am a believer in hunting of all types and kinds, just not fun for me to sit in a blind and wait for something to come my way. http://smileydatabase.com/s/301.gif

There is sport and there is putting food on the table. Falconry is sport. I have no problem sitting in a blind by a feeder and waiting for a deer if the shooter intends on eating it. I've done just that and can't wait for opening day to get here this year.

My Dad is a traditional archer in GA. LOTS of deer there and still gets blanked some years. Traditional archery is tough. I did it one bow season and got a deer, but I saw a LOT more than that.

Hunting is hunting. I'm sure the video was edited to look much faster and more action packed than was actually the case for advertising purposes. I've never done any bowhunting and for some reason it doesn't sound particullary appealing to me. Wing shooting and falconry is what turns my crank, but,the thought of bringing home one of them big turkey gobblers and the smell of it roasting in the oven...well what can I say.

I have spent days in a hawk trapping blind where nothing happens at all and then all of a sudden everything happens all at once and it is pretty exciting.

You should do what we do in Texas, take a gobler with a Harris's crazyy

One of the most exciting things to do is sit in a blind and watch a hawk come in to take a pigeon flapping within the confines of your bownet.

OMG, I am afraid you are mistaken, sir, You either are flying a golden eagle or you have very tiny turkeys, our turkeys here, and I only see them rarely, are huge and would gobble down a HH like a worm.

Jokingly, Tom Smith
