My mom was going through some old family photos and ran across one of my grandfather holding his Golden Eagle in San Antonio, TX back in 1953. I never even knew there was another falconer in my family. Even though Ive been a falconer for several years this was the first time I have heard anything about my grandfather being a falconer. Anywho I figured I'd throw this in, if anything its an interesting old photo. Funny what you find when you start shaking the branches of your family tree....Never know what might fall out ;-)

Wow! That pic speaks for itself. Cool to know that you are another in the line of a falconer family. Thanks for the pic.

As far as I remember they were both still there when he died too somehow. If I had to guess he was self taught back in the 50's.
