Here is my new apprentice, Patrick, and his first bird we trapped yeterday morning after about an hour of trapping at DFW airport....I don't think he has stopped smiling yet.....:-) Nothing beats your first trapped bird!!!!!

very cool!!! looks big what did it weigh? and yes look at that got my 1st redtail smile!!!

It's initial trap weight was 1330g with a little bit of a crop. That bird was sitting fairly calm on the fist after only an hour....Still in shock of course....
