I'm posting this for a friend who has decided to franchise my annual minimeet.....

Alabama REDTAIL RUMBLE 2007 mini-meet
First in Alabama...
November 9th, 10th and 11th
Hollins WMA - Clay and Talladega Counties, AL, 29,400 acres.
Directions: From Sylacauga: Take County Road 511 east to Hollins,
turn left on Bull Gap Road. Go past the equipment shed on left, turn left
on Raccoon Road (Rd 696). Primitive camping areas on both sides of
road. Bring water, food, essentials for three days.
Keep in mind that this is a state WMA. A Wildlife Heritage License is
valid in lieu of State Hunting and WMA licenses on a WMA for all small
game hunting, except waterfowl.
A copy of the Hollins WMA map and hunting season is also required.

Squirrels will be the main quarry, and there will hopefully be PLENTY
for everyone. There are some rabbits as well, but you'll have to get in
the thick stuff to find them.
If you have dogs as part of your hunting team, please feel free to
bring them. However, please keep in mind that not all birds will tolerate
dogs while hunting. Please be sure and bring a leash or a crate to
contain your dogs while other birds are flying.
Members of the Alabama WFF will be invited to this meet, so bring your
"A"-game.
This mini-meet is not associated with any falconry club.
All falconers are invited.
