Hi there, I am new here and interested in learning everything I can about Falconry. I am a misplaced Mainer living in Boston. My main question is is it possible to get into falconry and work towards a license if you are unable to own a bird? Thanks!
Lark,
Yes, it is the way most of us got into falconry. Hanging out with falconers, beating the brush for their birds and learning over a few years. This prepares you well to be a falconer yourself.
Check out the MA club website here:

Make some contacts and get out hawking!
Good luck!

[smilie=eusa_clap.gif] The very best way is find great hunting spots and invite falconers to them....beat the brush for them for a year and show your commitment......... [smilie=icon_pray.gif] [smilie=banana.gif] [smilie=icon_pray.gif] [smilie=icon_pray.gif] [smilie=icon_thumright.gif] ......jm
