my hunting spots are getting knocked down cold weather or not, i'm going to have to adapt to another type of hawk here before to long. my hawking with a redtail is going to be over soon in this area, for some reason they like to build,build, build even in a bad economy.
i have been on vacation all week and the rabbits are around and she has been trying.. we came up with a cotton rat yesterday, we are in a slump!!! i let her crop up on the cotton rat so it might be saturday before we get out again.
yes i do have a new RT hunting she is coming along, cottontail # 4 on saturday and i got a new chocolate lab pup so no rest for me for a while. did you get to trap a merlin this year?

Hey Hodge, new regulations are out, not that they affect me much, any plans this year for a bird? maybe a passage harris hawk for me if i can get my ass down that direction, i'm still looking at new cars and when the price is right i hope to make the road trip. hope all is well , talk to you soon. hey Hodge, I'm just checking to see what you have going on ? as for local news me a my redtail have been stompin' some rabbits, and the local apprentice is going to try a redshouldered hawk he trapped last week, and we have an all white redtail hanging around the grandparkway I-10 area, keep an eye open.. talk to you soon...
Hodge, i'm going to keep her, she was bitten by 3 water moccasins, knocked her self out silly slamming into a fence, she nailed a cat, splashed into a pond after a mallard, missed but that was cool. i'll see what crazy stuff she does next season and let her go after that, unless we get a harris hawk. talk to you later.
