Today Shera flew 25 feet 5 times we called it a day winds to hard.Tomorrow we do the same but 50 feet, she had great responds in the high winds 8-)STAY STRONG

I let Sarge go ,he was not the best of the two redtail hawks. 30 hunting trips and he got 6 rabbits.He had a hard time holding on to rabbits and had small feet.He would get the rabbit and they would slip out, did this over 20 times give or take.I was leaving Gunner (the other redtail hawk )at home to get Sarge going and after a week of seeing that he had a hard time holding on to rabbits.I was going to let him go as soon as the weather was good.I do not think he was good hawk for falconry. He was a mouser and a rat killer . I spent to much time with him to get going on rabbit and had to get BACK with Gunner to do some hunting.Gunner was the BEST of the two and i will not have a hawk for a pet.Sarge was a good hunter but not for rabbits.That is it to make a long story short. (Gunner 35 rabbits and Sarge 6 i took Sarge out more)

Hi, good to here from you.I let one of my redtail hawks free.Have the van being fix and will not get it back till Mon.2-21-2011 went in last Mon.The snow and ice is gone.The ice on the ponds is all most gone,i like to fish too. You know bass catfish and anything that bites that will fight.When the van comes back i will be hunting with the other redtail.Till i here from you STAY STRONG.
Coool thinking about a HH myself but don't have any indoor facelities to keep it in the harsh times of winter, I'm thinking of maybe a FGO's but just don't know right now, it's getting to close to fishing season. I'm doing better also but a little sore from getting the boat out and putting new LED lights on it's trailor.
