Hey Mr.Tom! How are you faring with those dang RS's? I hope all is well!
Good Morning David, Got some snow [6"] Friday nite and Sat am. Extremely windy and about 25 degrees. My gal is afraid of the snow on the ground???!!!! She didn't even want to hit the lure on the ground. Fred says she'll get used to it. I've not seen that before. Last weeks wx hasn't been so good up here either. We've been out but haven't jumped much. Too many deer hunters right now---some will shoot at anything, and I try to stay out of the way. I once saw a good system for soaking feet-----a small perch in a shallow wide rubber bucket. We'll have Bess out this afternoon if it stays calm. Have you heard how yellowdog dave has been doing? I'm waiting to load out 6 reindeer for Tampa's zoo. I like hunting down there. The wx is easier on this old carcass than this western NY lake effect stuff. Good luck and best wishes.
Good morning Mr.Tom. I hope all is going great on your end and you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. How is the weather in your area? It's finally starting to cool off here a little. 30 degrees this morning and no wind, looks like an excellent day. Compared to yesterday with 15-20 mph winds and gusts up to 30 mph. Have you been hunting? Journey and I have been shut down all week with the weather and a little sore on her foot. It worked out though that way I could soak it in epsom salt water every morning, keep antibiotic ointment on it, and keep herquiet in her giant hood most of the day. She looks good and is ready to hunt. I hope you are getting out there and having a great time. I look forward to hearing from you. Until next time, take care! David
Good morning Mr.Tom. Two of my friends and I went hawking yesterday.Journey went first. Just one chance in some real thick vines and yet somehow managed to snag it with one foot. The rabbit was actually dragging her into the brush with her wings folded back. Just before I could get there the lil' bugger got away. She did well with the sircumstance and followed great. One of my friends, Mr. Bill said she did good and the man behind the glove has been doing his work. I was honored that he said that. Then we went to another location. There we jumped a total of six rabbits. Each one of their birds managed to get one. Both had really good opportunities, as the rabbits broke in the clearing right under them. The brush is still thick and the weather is warm, but we are giving it our all. We are going tomorrow and I will keep you updated. I hope all is well on your end and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Take care, David
