My name is Darrell, and I?m a falconer currently living in Washington State. Many years ago I obtained a trapping permit and trapped a female Harris?s Hawk, and the following year a male. I flew them both successfully until some unexpected family circumstances required us to move. At that time, I released both birds in AZ in the general area where they had originally been trapped.

After several more years and rebuilding my life after a divorce and some financial setbacks. I?m now in a position where I would really like to return to falconry and partner with another Harris?s Hawk. I especially enjoy working with passage birds and would be happy to apply for a permit and trap again if needed.

However, I was also hoping to connect with a falconer who might be considering transferring or rehoming their Harris?s Hawk. I completely understand that you don?t know me, and I?d be more than willing to take the time to talk, answer questions, and make sure you feel comfortable if rehoming your bird is something you?re considering.

Please feel free to contact me if this might be a possibility. I?d be happy to connect however is easiest.

Thank you for your time, and I appreciate your consideration.

Best regards,
