It was good to meet you finally at the WFA picnic. When I originally read your name, I was expecting you to be Japanese. When you introduced yourself at the picnic, I heard "Jeff Hershey" and was thinking, I don't recall talking to you.

Any luck finding more black goshawk nests? We've got a pretty good system for finding them here in Wisconsin now. Your area sounds much more challenging. Still I think I'd like to look some day. We usually start with aerial photos here. I'd really be a stranger in a strange land in the Olympic Pen... Someday though. I'd just like to see the woods. Never been Pacific NW. Always wanted to.
