Biography:

I became interested in falconry after years of watching a group of hawks come to my yard to perch and feed, soaring and returning around the same time each day to the area. Occasionally, they would land on my satellite dish, fenceposts, or a tree on my deck and I began to know them by their calls, sizes, and plumages. Eventually, I did my research and learned of the high mortality rates faced by raptors in the wild. This made me interested in falconry not just from a training perspective but with the intention to conserve more of the population.
