Chris, I agree with you completely... Many times I'm caught between a rock and a hard place when it comes to sell from the project... I try and screen who I sell to, but invariably I spend each summer 'coaching' guys how to rear an imprint, and trying to correct even simple mistakes that they make...so I've learned some lessons along the way because of it... I still get that gnawiing feeling when I send "my babies" to new homes.

Now then, Lou will be flown a couple months and put up for breeding... If all goes well, besides raggits,I plan on flying him on ducks and pheasant as they are great game birds and it will help feed the project through the winter and get everyone fat and sassy...
No snow yet, usually we don't get much snow before mid Dec. so it will be best to concentrate on birds until some of the cover gets laid down by the snow...

Good hawking this year, and I hope for a safe season for you as well.

yeah time will tell. I think many are caught up in the romantic Idea of flying a gos. Many do not realize the commitment until its to late.

this was the best move I could make. I love it here. Plenty of game and the weather is great. I am looking forward to a full season here.

Paul told me he sent Lou to you. He is a good gos and loves cotton tails. I told Paul he made the right choice for sure. I know you will make some babies with Lou. I hope you have a great season and I look forward to hearing about your season.
