I believe Jim is flying him in the 250-260 g range. Maybe Jim can update us. Remarkable how much he resembles a Richardsons merlin isnt it?
The resemblence is remarkable. What caught my eye when I first saw the picture was the leg mounted transmitter, and that he was flying without jesses. I'm currently flying my 2nd Female Merlin and have been following the advice of friends with many years of Merlin experience flying without jesses and using a neck mount transmitter. I don't really like the neck mount and would like to try a backpack but would need help with installing one.Quote:

It is off Elkhorn Road, and there's actually a shack with some sort of motor inside of it, possibly for an oil derrick. If you're familiar with the old property with the oil derrick sticking out like a sore thumb, that's where the photo was taken. There are other towers and structures, as well.Quote:
