Reminds me of that story of the poor bloke who got his wedding tackle grabbed by a pair of Harris' hawks at the Welsh Hawking Club meet many years ago (I think 1994) while he was relieving himself.

I think the reason I admire the photo so much Tony is because not only is it representative of some of the finest Falconry furniture available. For me at least it also offers the opportunity to reflect on the finer details.Quote:

On my way out to fly Echo this morning, I bumped into some local riff raff about a block from my house. I pulled over and snapped a few pics. The last pic I was laying on my truck seat and shooting up through the windshield as she had just landed right there and I was afraid if I moved it would bump her out of view.

And then I got out with Echo and she grabbed some quality air time. She's getting the hang of going up now, but still is only half-heartedly trying to catch flushed beneath her. One of these days it will cool down and she'll be ready.

Very beautiful falcon, Adam. No matter how many pics of the falcons of modern falconry I see, the ol' Peregrine still reigns supreme in my world---plus Tanner's tiercel RNS/B. He is just plain falcon lust.
