Awesome yarak pic Charles. Curious, what was trap weight and what is hunting weight if you don't mind? How's the hooding?
Thanks.. she was trapped at 354.. were flying at 340..but will need to come down a bit cause she's discovered her freedom and has become a little slow to the fist and the lure.
Beautiful falcons. Are they flown in falconry?
Colorado used to have a last eyass take date as July 15. That really sucked. I took an eyass at a couple days old as I had no other option. But it worked out great so I guess it really didn't suck as I would have waited till it was a brancher. But she was one of my best and most fun bird ever. You are going to have fun.
Terrific photos Karan- thank you. The Black is a deep-keeled and richly colored falcon with huge feet, long remiges and short retrices- and thus inspires envy and falconry-lust in all of us! Please keep sharing.
Cheers,
Tanner

Here's a good sign I seen yesterday. A Frog. The stinkin dirt farmers and utility farmers haven't quit sprayed enough shit yet to kill them all.

Yes, and them too...
Oh, if you were referring to me, I really try to stay away from blended Canadian whiskey whenever I can help it. It's not good for the soul, if you know what I mean. Jeff, on the other hand, probably doesn't have as high of standards as me...
Its coming to the nafa meet, everyone can try!

Ross Dirks' pointer (or two) and maybe Tom's dog honoring a point. As the shutter clicked (yeah, back in the day) the bird flushed. Ross can probably ID his dog(s) for us.
