Hi Ken,
I'm easy my friend. What ever works best for you I am cool with. The dinner is so low key, not many rules. Just beer drinking and sh_t talking.. I can't wait to see what you are bringing to then dinner. It will be cool to finally meet you as well, it's fun to put a face with the name
I have had some more items donated. I am in Santa fe for the weekend and will update the thread when I get home. We do have another hood to enter in the raffle, another book and something from a good friend in the UK!
For those of you coming to the dinner have a look in your falconry stash, grab something that has been sitting around a while it doesn't matter what it is. Big, small, micro... It's great when everyone leaves the dinner with something
Hey Chris, I won't be attending the dinner but will for sure get in touch with you over a beer. I will give you my business card which will allow the winner to come by my vendor table, pick up their saver and I will have a selection of hoods for them to pick one.
I've been trying to think of what I could possibly donate... I've got no talent making hawk equipment, but I do have some, um... unique... hoods sitting around that I've never used and suspect I might never use. One has springs, one does not. Someone might get a kick out of one of 'em...
Say Chris, Me and my two kids are coming, we will bring a box of Pakistani hoods to donate.
Since Chris is off..probably hawking or something toungeout, I'll jump in. the dinner & raffle are seperate rfom the Comeaux kicking coonass shrimp cook. Shrimp cook is during the light of day for all to see & enjoy.... the dinner/raffle is hidden in the shadows of the evening, to protect the innocent and accent the table dancing :D:D

amennn...LET IT BE SO...amennn
This'll be my first NAFA meet... I don't get out much... so I'm pretty clueless...
Oh so it's a butt naked with an apron kind of affair? I might substitute a kilt (a real one and none of that "sport kilt" crap). Just for PC. I mean it is an international gig this year and I am an international kinda guy.:D
pants can't contain the kinda balls it takes to wear a skirt.......
Nope.....unless I could have Boobs too, then maybe. Not permanently though, that would be weird.crazyy
ROFLMAO...Gaz is from Bristol. Believe you me...it's an apron, not a skirt (or even a kilt). If you search around on here there are pics...come to think of it...I think there may be one or two in my filespeacee
what's a sport kilt? I've only worn the fold up/over the shoulder type... for those who need a visual, like in Braveheart/Highlander type.
Rich, It's a wanna be kilt with pleats all the way around and elastic around the waist. Google sport kilt. Not a pretty sight for those of us who actually have a tartan and wear kilts.
thought so, I worked in an Irish Pub & we of course went all out for St. Patrick's Day, but I also did Rev War re-enactment w/ a guy who wore his ancestors Black Watch tartan, and rendevoused with a couple Scots w/family tartans and old, old Claymores swords, and knives all over. We snuck out of camp one night and went to a local bar, in period dress. The door guy checked us for weapons, had em everywhere ^ stopped him at 6. When we staggered back ta camp, guess where his "participant ribbon was tied???? which has nothing ta do with thread's original path, & in the words of Larry the Cable Guy," Lord, I apologize..."
Pmsl...love that one :) This is one of my favorites though...

I wish I had something to donate for the raffle, but instead I'm offering to donate my time--
Chris, like I said earlier, if you need help with setup/teardown or anything, I'm volunteering.
My first NAFA meet was last year in Vernal and I heard about the banquet last-minute and it was the highlight of the Meet for me, getting to meet all of you awesome folks :)
The NAFEX dinner is not something you want to miss! I'm bringing myself and a guest...and looking forward to the after-party! :P
