Hi Noah...I try to fill my freezer to have a steady supply of wild game to feed throughout the moult. Rabbit heads are given to the birds and I rarely have to cope beaks. I also get muskrat carcasses...
I have a couple of friends living in Riverside I may be able to put you in touch with. Of course, they fly goshawks. :)
My dad was in the Corp and stationed at Cherry Point for many years. Good luck with your falconry adventure
Hello William. I grew up in Havelock and currently live in NV. Where in NC did you live?
Dang Harry...almost all imprint Euros I've seen or flown have been a touch"high strung" compared to my NA's. I must be unlucky or just plain crazyy!
I would stick to the Harris' if I were you. Best choice for your situation. If it ain't broke....!
Hit me up if you want to talk. I should be on Cory Dalton's email chain.
Hello Steve. I just renewed my subscription...and caught up on all the back issues for the past couple of years. Looking forward to "binge" reading when my order arrives.
Congrats Ed! Sept is right around the corner ;)
Well guys and gals, now that the meet is over, does anyone want to give a review? Due to work commitments I could not hunt during the day but I did attend the banquet. I would like to hear people's...
It has been between 40-50 degrees during the day and dropping into the teens at night for the past two weeks. I'm praying for snow!
Too bad about the lack of bunnies this year. Just two seasons ago, you couldn't walk 10 yards without stepping on one! The drought conditions the last two years has really affected the population....
Nothing for CA as well. If you are flying a Gos, then you will most likely be hunting Smith Valley which is in NV. Lots of jacks, few bunnies.
Hi Melissa. No special permit to bring a bird into NV. Just be sure to get all the appropriate licenses depending on the game you are planning to hunt. Go to the NDOW website to buy licenses on-line.
Ed, what Dave is really asking is "Do you know of any good fields?" toungeout
Hey Jeff, if you're going to be in the area, look me up. Might even share some duck slips! :D
