I go to the Music shop and buy piano wire that fits the mount appropriately. Then twist it up into a tail spring(takes some practice) . A little epoxy and a shrink wrap and I have been good to go.
I have two imprints comint this year. A Saker and a EEO. Possibly a third but time is getting short?
The Aylmeri anklet is a newer way. I would guess from what i have heard from some of my apprentices the bullet jesses are the way to go(don't know never used them). The traditional jesses are...
Field jesses have no slits for a swivel hence the bird shouldn't get hung up by getting the slit caught up on something like a twig, branch, ect. Mews jesses have slits and are left on the bird...
I decided to sell her as well as some of my other birds. A few other birds have become avalible to me that I would enjoy a bit more. The bird catches just about every day. She takes much larger...

Bags help with training. Its hard to do anti ~ carrying training on a first kill without a bag or teach a bird that your there to help. How do you teach a bird to take a sparrow out of the air and...
After the first one or two I dont make them easy at all.
I have been doing daily bags with her since she could kill them. It keeps her very mellow. The screaming only came around after calling her to the fist. Looked good at first but I kind of felt...
Well, the fist might not have been such a good choice. She started to get vocal. So I have been calling her to the lure again. She became silent for the most part in a few days of it. I should...
What's wrong with the perch? I figured he thought we were one in the same too.
