Hi we use to run salukis here in the uk a bit of a gentlemans running dog had some good success with them ..
I wouldnt run anything bigger than with a saluki ,running a pair
as we had an incodent where we had a biggish learcher running a hair and the saluki collided with the learcher and bust its leg 18months of hard work down the pan..

That's something Stephen Bodio in NM could answer.

Paul (Saluqui) runs salukis here in NM, there are quite a few saluki coursers in NM even Frank Bond has one. Steve Bodio has Tazis a central Asian relative of the saluki. I personally course hares with my lurchers and falcons as a team. In the coursing scene there are many saluki greyhound crosses hunted as well. I think in general those hunting the crosses are the more serious coursers out here in the west. Whilst some saluki people are serious coursers many run their dogs a bit but show more.

    I hope that helps.
