Hello from Southwest Iowa

Hello falconry community, I am Matt and I live in Southwest Iowa. I have been interested in falconry for years, but I was unable to commit the time and money necessary. I did however go Hawking with a gentleman that lives in the area, which was one of the most amazing things I've done. I am now on my way. Studying and preparing for my test. I am anxious to meet more falconers and become a part of such an exciting community.

Welcome Matt,
There has been a sudden influx of Iowans on here in the last couple weeks. We are having the annual Iowa falconers meet in Ft. Dodge on January 22, 23. It would be a good place to meet people and see some birds fly.

I hope to meet you there. I probably won't get there until later on Saturday. I expect there to be people staying overnight friday to go out first thing Saturday, and people arriving throughout Saturday. We are a small group. we'll try to get you connected to see some flights.
