Paul,
Small world....
Just yesterday, I got a phonecall from an old fishing buddy of mine. He and I have been great friends for a long time, and he teaches ornithology at the University of New Hampshire. Anyway,... long story short, the reason for his call was to tell me that he had taken his students down to Plum Island Wildlife Refuge in Massachusetts and while they were filming an ibis, a peregrine came in and whacked it. He was like, "you've got to go look up the video, the commentary from my students was too funny!"
I hadn't bothered to look it up yet, and there it is!
Thanks man!

Fantastic. The students won't forget that anytime soon. Looks like the peregrine was missing a primary.
Here's the soundtrack to go with it...

It's all just too Zen for me.
Awesome video! I love the way the girls in the background are all saying "I can't look" or "Awww" but at the same time, they are laughing hysterically. LOL

That guy (the only one?) said something like, "Am I the only one that's excited?"
a lesson they wont soon forget.......

I liked it when one of them said, "Mother nature, you're so mean." Yes she can be cruel.
