I met Jacob at the PowWow held here in Silver City, NM last weekend. He was one of the Native American dancers. He is excited about becoming a falconer. Now if we can get some one in his area to take him out hawking so he can see what falconry is all about. I am about 2 hours away from Las Cruses.

Hello from Alabama! I too am new to falconry. This place is full of great information from men and women with decades of experience. I have personally found themodernapprentice.com and the California Hawking Club's Apprentice Study Guide to be truly, as suggested by most sources, to be the most well presented information for us newbs.

    Carry on!

    Welcome to the boards

    Hawkless but hopeful!
