    Default Bribing MT sponsors

    Hey everyone,

My name is JD and I am looking for a sponsor. I'm a 39 year old cattleman, I train my own horses and stockdogs (Kelpies) and have always had an interest in raptors and been considering falconry for some time now. I feel that I'm in a good position now to afford the time and money to do it.

    Now for the bribery.
I live 25 miles west of White Sulphur Springs MT we have pasture land here as well as near Ringling MT as well as private pasture that borders national forest land north of WSS

If anyone wants to come out hunting with your birds please contact me even if you aren't interested sponsoring now. We have cottontails, snowshoe hares and ground squirrels everywhere, a well as ducks, Huns, grouse, mostly ruffed some spruce and sharptails.

There are also a lot of redtails and kestrels if anyone is looking to trap this fall.

I am hoping to get the ball rolling so that i can trap a bird by the fall of 2015.

Please feel free to contact me via email jdvukon@yahoo.com or pm

    Thanks JD

    Hi JD,
Welcome aboard, there are several MT falconers here on NAFEX, hopefully one of them will be in contact with you. Sounds like you're in a nice place to get started, good luck!

I'll move to MT just to sponsor you. Got a guest room?

First week of November, you'd freeze to death! Gotta like the cold...

Move to Nebraska and wait a few years and I would be more than happy to sponsor you if you would agree to sponsor me with a stock dog for my cattle.

Thanks for all the replies, I'm excited to start making this a reality.

Bryan, I do have a guest room, but I should mention that last winter I saw 2 days that the Celsius and Fahrenheit scales met.

If you don't know the conversion, they meet at -40.

Sounds good Daniel, except the wait a few years part of that deal

No mosquitos, gnats, or ticks at -40. Best wishes JD.

Thanks Jim but I agree with Tom, cold equals no flies for most of the year. Besides the cold make a feller appreciate the summer no matter how short it seems. Not to mention I have cows in belly deep grass and its still green untill the end of August.
