Default Great 1st yr bird mad max tiercel redtail

HELLO just wanted to say what a great 1st yr bird I HAD and some GREAT flights we had. ONE such day is when MAX grabbed a squirrel in top of a tree above a creek landed in the creek and started floating down stream with squirrel under water in his grasp while I ran down the bank. well all a sudden squirrel gets-loose-and starts swimmimg for the bank with MAD MAX using his wings like paddles in hot pursuit finally catching him and bringing him down again. ON another ocassion a squirrel ran into a hollow of a tree after hitting the ground from 50 ft up from the pressure MAX was putting on him after a stoop and a miss max walked around the tree trunk looking up but I saw where the squirrel went so I took my flushing stick stuck it in the hole and YOUNG MAX jumped up on the stick and rode it back and forth peeping in the hole as I pushed it in to get a better look but THE BEST time was when MAX killed 4 squirrels so I THOUGHT an was after number 5 but a squirrel in my game bag jumps out starts climbing a tree and MAX HAD TO BRING HIM DOWN AGAIN. SO MAX LEARNED alot about squirrels and 32 squirrels learned alot about MAD MAX EVEN A COOPER HEAD WHICH BIT MAX on the foot causing it to swell and sending MAX TO THE VET GAVE MAX A GOOD meal so if you ever see a REDTAIL AND A NEW FALCONER IN AN UP COMMING SC WILD LIFE MAGAZINE OCTOBER OR MAYBE NOVEMBER addition its me and MAD MAX .
