Need A Sponsor Soon

Hey, if anyone up in the Northern Wisconsin area is willing to sponsor an apprentice, im open to be sponsored. I guess I was told to ask around. The one thing is I wouldn't want to rush anything to soon because I am currently working on applying for a new job so ( I have to wait for my reciprocity forms to go through, it takes about a month in a half) I wouldn't be able to take the test or anything until probably the end of june or mid-july. But soon i will need someone to sponsor me, so keep me in the back of your head! Thanks!

I didn't mean ask on a web forum, you need to meet with Falconers in your area, in person, go to meets. Pass your test, then once you have met falconers in your area ask around for a sponsor.

You really need to be able to shake hands with the person you are asking to sponsor you. He/ She will want to get to know you first before they say yes. Lets face it, the two of you have to get along for at least 2 years. He/ She won't be a good sponsor if one of you can't stand the other.

I hope you understand what I am saying, If not thats cool. We've all been there......

LOL thats funny. now as for finding a sponsor have you joined your state club or even talked to any one in your state club. most of the time they can point you in the right direction.

well i actually already talked to one that was willing to already, i could actually talk to him about it when im ready. yah i know that i have to meet the person "in person" but i was just checkin if there was anyone up in the area before making a futile attempt. just a way to meet up.
