Ahhh.. But the 170B is a tail dragger Jill! I don't like trike gears either.. STOL flaps on the "B" too.. It makes a nice bush plane.. I took off and landed it on the grass more then I ever did asphalt. It was like it was meant to be on the grass with the big tires.170B - good plane. Debating trading the citabria for one (might be needing a four seater in the future) but don't think I can go to a tricycle gear.
Yikes! Bet that woke you up! I like the paint job though.. I have never seen a green Citabria. The Citbria we flew was the classic red and white with the sunburst on the wing. Not one I have ever seen on a Citabria. If you ever get a chance for a close up, I would sure like to see it.I think my avatar is the only pict I have of her - she is in the shop right now post prop strike - MN cross winds and a tail dragger with spring gear, bad combination.
Yes, I bet in a Citabria, it would be tough to pack the birds. You need a 185 Skywagon! The Feb meet sounds like fun as long as it doesn't interfer with our MN feb meet, but when you fly it is tough to pack birds![]()
February 6th is our MHC meet: http://www.mhc.clubexpress.com/conte...item_id=102896
Wisconsin's is always over Valentines day and I am going to try to make it to that one, much to the disapointment of my wife! Sun Prairie is a great time.
