You guys are killing me! I would LOVE to attend the dinner and do my best to snag some of these raffle items, but will have to miss it again...
The NAFA Board and Officers will be addressing the membership at an open meeting that evening, (7pm) so I'll be caught up with that again this year. I hope you all have a great time and I hope to catch up with most of you in the field....

Brian, I may take you up on that! I thought of throwing money at someone to buy raffle tix for me....

Rich. Thanks man. Yeah, it was no problem here. Just a very windy, rainy day and some extremely high tides. Good waves though. I was down at the beach watching some of my buddies who were out surfing. I got excited initially when I heard that Sandy was coming up the coast of Maine. I thought they were talking about Sandy Bullock.

Some of the guys in NJ got hit pretty badly. And Mike Dupuy has been kind enough to offer shipments of free hawk food to those who need it. I hope everyone is in better shape by now....

Ok I heard back from the establishment I was trying to book. We worked it out.

    Location: The Chicken Coop
    Time: 5:30 PM
    Date: 11/20/12

    Chicken Coop
    215 A Ave
    Kearney, NE 68847
    Phone 308) 338-8500

The Dinner will start at 6pm sharp.. Orders will be taken then

(web site for the bar- http://www.chickencoopsportsbar.com/Kearney/index.php)
    (Website for the menu- http://www.chickencoopsportsbar.com/...p--kearney.pdf)

    -------About the coop
"We have a non-smoking dining room that seats 95 and A full bar lounge area that seats 30. We have a large liquor selection with 15 beers on tap. A huge game room area with 4 pool tables, 4 dart boards, 2 foosball tables and other arcade games. A digital juke box with thousands of songs on demand. game room area has seating for parties up to 100 people with there own set of TV's"

We will have the private room/bar for 2 hours and then it turns into a trivia night and we are all welcome to participate and keep drinking and having fun. The bar has plenty of tap beer and good food available. Each person is responsible for paying for their own food and drinks. I love you guys, but not that much

One of the local falconers, Chris P., helped me decide on this place and I cant thank him enough for his help. Thank you Chris for all the great information.

The Chicken coop is not far from the meet hotel and it looks like its a perfect venue for what we need. I look forward to seeing you all there.

Fred its my pleasure my friend. Thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate it. I really enjoy doing all of this. I am happy to provide a valuable resource to the one hobby that I truly love. I also enjoy meeting all of you guys at these dinners. They are so much fun... I will take you up on your frost beverage for sure

Tasha I was thinking the same thing. This is the reason I went with this place. It had everything I needed to have fun Kind of selfish I know....

I would recommend that you all start showing up around 530-545 that way we can get everyone seated and the drinks can get ordered. This will make it much easier to get the dinner out of the way and we can get to the raffle and to some darts!!!

I will be there around 5PM starting early and setting up if anyone wants to have some drinks and hang out... I know I will be drinking then
